The Washington School of World Studies (WSWS) is pleased to offer a distance education program to compliment your People to People Ambassador Programs educational travel program experience, and to provide additional high school credits. These online courses will further enhance the opportunities for you to connect directly with the culture and heritage of various countries. All credits received through participation in the distance learning program are transferable to your high school and meet a variety of core requirements.

WSWS is a fully accredited travel study school and a provisionally accredited distance learning school through the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Learn more about the courses we offer.

By taking an online course you can:

  • Learn language skills of the country you will visit, greatly enhancing your communication skills

  • Understand various subjects on world studies to enrich your travel experience

  • Experience the flexibility that online learning gives you, so you can study at your own pace

Before registering, please complete the self-scored readiness survey. This survey will help you decide if you are well suited for succeeding in an online environment. To register, download, fill out and fax in your registration form.

Once registered, you will receive access to online training to prepare you for your studies as well as your course username and password. WSWS staff will also assist in communicating with your school, and provide a mentor to ensure your online learning is successful and fulfilling. Please review the keys to success which may provide a jump-start to succeeding in an online learning environment.
